Links to Freeware... I love Freeware! On this page I've included some of my favorite FREE stuff. These are applications, utilities, and information that I use all the time, and I thought I would share them. I did not include descriptions for every item on this page; just follow the links and read the descriptions (and reviews) at the download sites. I plan to add more stuff to this page whenever I find anything good and FREE.
I suppose I should state, unequivocally (to avoid any confusion?), that none of the programs on this page are mine, and I had nothing to do with creating them. They are the product of, and the property of, their respective creator(s) and/or copywrite holder(s). (Whew...glad that's off my chest...)
Hobby Programming
Just BASIC is a great, easy to learn and use, (FREE) programming language that can create stand-alone (.exe) applications. JB is actually a subset of Liberty BASIC, but it is quite powerful and a full fledged development package. The Just BASIC conforums (plus JB Archives) is where you can get help and support with all your JB programming questions.

Thistle-Win is a fun (FREE) programming language and compiler. It was created as a hobby project by Thomas and Alyce Watson. I like to think of Thistle-Win as the "Haiku" of programming languages: work within its parameters and you might create something nice.

If you are a beginner (like me), and want to try your hand at building Web Pages and Web Sites, here are some places to get information and help. Before you spend a dime on books, HTML editors, Web Hosting, File Hosting, etc., check out these FREE resources. This area will be updated as I find new and/or better resources.
